Self unloading bulk bag for railway grains transportation 

 

        In modern society, although all modes of transportation have developed rapidly, rail transportation still has its large-volume, fast-speed advantages, it occupies a dominant position in cargo transportation. For the transportation of grains, we currently widely use special vehicles and boxcar these two kinds of vehicles. The special vehicles for foodstuff is very rare and expensive, what's worse, its rate of utilization is really low, after it arrives its destination and discharges, it has to return to the starting point without any freight in it, which means you pay for a round trip but only get a one-way trip. Then the boxcar is more common to see in the transportation of grains and much more cheaper, but if you use this way, you need to pack the grains into small pouches firstly, and there are many complex steps throughout the entire transportation process which may lead to a low efficiency. Therefore, we need to find a solution that can not only save cost for customers but also simplify the steps of transportation in order to improve the efficiency.

 

       To solve all the issues mentioned above, our company offers a modern efficient and automated way for grains transportation. To save cost, we choose open wagon to transport grains, we have invented a new kind of bulk bag which can be perfectly connected to the inner surfaces of open wagon and has a tarpaulin as a cover that can protect the freight inside from water during the trip. To tell more details, when loading, firstly we place our bulk bag inside the open wagon, then set up a belt conveyor between the truck carrying grains and the open wagon, then the grains can be transported into the bulk bag automatically, after full loaded, cover and fasten the tarpaulin. When unloading, the grains can automatically flow out from the openings on one side of the bag because of its self gravity.
